Liebster Award

Today I found out that Florence Fois nominated me for the Liebster Award.  Thank you, Florence.  You can read her July 22nd post here:

The rules for the Liebster Award are:

1. Link back to the person who gave it to you and thank them.
2. Post the award to your blog.
3. Give the award to 5 bloggers with less than 200 followers that you appreciate and value.
4. Leave a comment on the 5 blogs to let them know that they have received this award.

And my nominees are:

1.  Sheri de Grom: http://sheridegrom.com

Not only does Sheri write fantastic book reviews, she is an assertive advocate for those in the military who have suffered both physically and mentally during the time they served in the war zones.  Her blogs have taught me more than I would ever have found out in a newspaper or magazine.

2.  Catie Rhodes:  http://catierhodes.com/2012/07/20/haunted-hotels-the-gunter/

Catie’s blogs are intriguing as well as haunting.  They deliver true and accurate data about all things mysterious. You’re treated to great pictures and videos to keep you mesmerized while she spins tales of the fantastic.

3.  Miss Mae:  http://themissmaesite.blogspot.co

I have been following Miss Mae’s blogs for months and being the animal advocate/lover that I am, I find her blogs sweet, endearing, and full of real-life stories and pictures dealing with dogs and cats that touch your heart.

4.  Julie Glover:

My favorite blogs that Julie writes deal with words and, as a writer, I find them full of information I tuck in my brain for future use. Her “origins of words”enlighten and teach and are humorous too.  I’ve learned so much from reading them. They embody the best of what you remember when you went to school.

5.  Linda Benson:

Linda’s post pull you into the animal and, most times, horsey world. She writes fantastic and fitting analogies about animals and writing.  Don’t ask me how she does it, but I come away from reading her blogs with a new look at the lives of critters and how I write my books.

Thank you Sheri, Catie, Julie, Miss Mae, and Linda for writing blogs that keep me coming back every time I see your name in my e-mail box.
