I watched a documentary about the people who tried to identify the man in the famous picture shown below.
It’s hard to see this photo and not imagine what he must have been feeling before he launched himself out of the window of that building. He knew he would die if he stayed and knew he would die if he jumped.
Almost three-thousand people perished that day. That’s an awesome and incredible number of individuals. And many of those people were those who were trying to save others.
And most of us know exactly where we were on that day. I don’t recall what I did yesterday, but on September 11, 2001, I was in bed watching the news.
